Created by state law in 1968, the 19th District Court has been one of Michigan's busiest for over three decades. Its caseload exceeds 70,000 annually.

Three judges are elected independently on non-partisan ballots for terms of six years serve the Dearborn Court.

WELCOME
...and thank you for your interest in your court.

I love my job and, after 18 years on the bench, I still view it as a tremendous privilege and honor to be chosen to serve as judge in my home town.

As a judge, lawyer, and more importantly, a lifelong resident of the city of Dearborn, I fully understand and appreciate the importance of having judges who have a unique blend of fairness, compassion, toughness, intelligence, common sense and respect for the law.  These are all qualities that I possess and have demonstrated both on and off the bench.

I remain most proud of having earned a solid reputation among common folk, public safety officers and the Dearborn legal community for utilizing old fashioned common sense in reaching fair, impartial decision.

You deserve a judge who listens and responds fairly.

Thank you for your continued support!
